These terms apply when you use afterop.com and the AfterOp concierge service. By placing an order or using the site you agree to them. If you have a separate agreement with us or with your clinic package, that agreement applies too.
1. What AfterOp does
AfterOp helps patients recovering in hotels in Incheon get meals delivered. You choose dishes from our English menu; our concierge places the order for you with the restaurant through Coupang Eats, and it is delivered to your hotel. We are not the restaurant and we do not prepare the food.
2. Placing an order
- Each order comes from one restaurant.
- There is a minimum order, shown on the menu. Some restaurants have a higher minimum of their own; if so, we may add a small item (such as a drink or side) so the restaurant accepts the order. Any change is shown on your tracking page.
- Orders are placed as soon as possible and can be made only while the restaurant is open and until 21:00 (9 pm) Korea time.
- Delivery usually arrives about 30–40 minutes after we place the order, but times are estimates and depend on the restaurant, traffic and your hotel.
- Depending on your hotel, food is delivered to your room or left at reception for you to collect.
3. Cancellations and changes
A restaurant may be unable to accept an order (for example an item is sold out, or it is too busy). If that happens your order will show as cancelled on your tracking page with a reason, and you can order again. A cancelled order does not count against your meal budget. Once we have placed an order with a restaurant we may not be able to change or cancel it.
4. Prices, meal budgets and payment
- Prices on the menu include delivery and our service, unless we tell you otherwise.
- If your stay includes a meal budget, it is set by your concierge and covers your orders for the stay (and those of any family members who share it). The menu shows how much is left.
- Orders over your budget are refused unless your concierge has allowed you to go over. If you choose to go over, you agree to pay the amount over your budget at the end of your stay.
- Payment arrangements are as agreed with you or your package provider.
5. Food, allergies and dietary needs
Menu descriptions, photos and "Gentle" or "Spicy" tags are a guide only; dishes are prepared by third-party restaurants and may vary. If you have an allergy or dietary requirement, add it to your order notes — we will pass it on, but we cannot guarantee that food is free from any allergen. If you have a serious allergy, please contact your concierge before ordering.
6. Health information
The care guide shows your clinic's written instructions. The blog and the question assistant provide general information only — they are not medical advice and do not replace your surgeon. Assistant answers are written by AI and may not be accurate. Always follow your own surgeon's instructions, and contact your clinic if you are worried. In an emergency in Korea, call 119.
7. Using the site
Please give accurate details so we can deliver your food, and don't misuse the site (for example by placing false orders or trying to access the concierge dashboard). We may refuse or cancel orders that look fraudulent or that we cannot fulfil.
8. Our responsibility
We take care to run the service well, but restaurants and delivery are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their acts or delays beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version; the version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
